Trident Sand Shark

The Trident Sand Shark cleans, recovers and stacks bedding sand that is found in Sand-Laden Manure. Sand-laden manure stripped of fiber is fed by a Trident manure separator to the Trident Sand Shark. Inside the Trident Sand Shark the effluent undergoes a velocity purge and settling process. The change in velocity causes the sand to separate from the effluent; the sand particles settle to the bottom of the non-clogging eccentric cone chamber where it is automatically removed via a shaftless screw auger delivering clean dewatered sand to a stacking pad. The sand free effluent along with any fine organic material that remain in the liquid is discharged out the top of the Trident Sand Shark to storage or further treatment.
